Pray for the Holy FatherThe Sacrament of Holy Matrimony is a serious vow between a man and a woman, as it is the sacramental sign of Christ’s love for the Church. Couples, who wish to enter into marriage, must contact a priest a least nine months before the wedding. One of the parties must be a registered member in the parish at least nine months before a date can be set. If both people are not registered members of the parish, they must present a letter from their previous parish of registration.
When you begin the marriage preparation process, please pickup guidelines for the celebration of the sacrament from the parish office. Couples take a compatability test, receives counsel from a Priest, and participates in a Pre-Cana class sponsored by the Diocese. Please call the parish office for an appointment.
